The Suez Canal Economic Zone welcomed several new logistics and warehousing investments this week, as international operators continue to expand their footprint along one of the world's busiest shipping corridors.

Zone officials said the new facilities are expected to increase cargo throughput significantly over the next three years, creating growing demand for supply chain and cargo insurance coverage.

Industry analysts noted that insurance brokers are increasingly working with logistics operators in the zone to structure coverage that spans the full journey from manufacturing to end delivery.
